“Come on, it’s Ryan Gosling, Eddie! Isn’t he everyone’s celebrity crush? Even you have to admit that he’s just an objectively beautiful man.”
Eddie chuckles, and Buck doesn’t miss the sudden rosiness to his cheeks as he ducks his head to finally zip up his med kit. “Hey, I’m definitely not disagreeing with you.”
Buck expected some variation of this answer, but the inflection in Eddie’s voice startles him briefly. “You’re not?”
“Nope,” Eddie replies easily, popping the P as he stands, slinging his bag over his shoulder. “I completely agree with you. I’m a sucker for blue eyes.” He then has the audacity to walk away, leaving Buck short-circuiting in his wake.
There is no way he just…
“Eddie, wait!”
Buck starts to jog after him.
“What do you—”
Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom.
Buck then watches in horror as the ground opens up, taking his entire world with it.
Or: A s09e17 speculation where a bridge explosion leads to an Eddie NDE, and Buck goes a little crazy. Ft. Buck&Harry brotherism, Buck&Chris, and a deep dive into Eddie's recklessness this season.

"Hi, what's up?" Buck replies, trying to sound normal and casual and not at all like he's impatient to get his sister out of his house as quickly as possible.
"Is someone here?" Maddie asks, looking around suspiciously.
"What? No!" Buck repositions himself across the hall, unnecessarily blocking off the closed bedroom door.
"Okay."
"Who would even be here?” Buck laughs nervously and struggles to shove his hands into the too-tight pockets of Eddie's jeans. “You know I'm not doing the hookup thing anymore. What happened last time was way too disastrous."

Or, Maddie decides to stop by for breakfast with her little brother, only problem is, his best friend is naked in his bedroom.

Summary
Three years after the fall of Sauron, Dwarves of Erebor labor to restore the stone of the White City. As leader of their delegation and friend to the new King of Gondor, Gimli son of Glóin is tasked with presenting their plans to the skeptical Council of Builders that oversees all construction in Minas Tirith. He must convince them of the merits of dwarven designs without revealing too many secrets of dwarven stonework, a delicate balance that he has learned to walk with care; yet in the process, he inadvertently gives away more than he means to about more private matters.

Summary
In the wake of Aragorn's supposed death on the way to Helm's Deep, Gimli and Legolas seek for comfort amidst their grief—and ultimately find it, as they ever do, in one another.
Eventually Legolas said quietly, "Men go on."
"Go on where?"
"Beyond the circles of the world," Legolas said. "No one knows where; or at least, the elves do not. All we know is that they go, and they do not return."
Gimli nodded. "They do not come back," he said, and understanding began to dawn.
"No," said Legolas. "No, they do not." Another long, waiting silence fell; again, it was Legolas who broke it, asking very quietly, "Do dwarves?"
