What he didn't know going into it was that he'd live an entire other life in there--more than that, that he'd find a family and the love of his life after years of being alone in real life, only to have them all torn away from him when he's woken up from the game. The privacy policy agreements he and the other players signed going into the game prevent the testing facility from giving him the other players' contact information--they won't even confirm if the five others were the members of his crew. But he'll do whatever it takes to find them in hopes of bringing his family back together.
