“Ain’t sure you’ve thought this through, Vaultie.”
“You don’t have to come up with excuses, Sir. If you’re not interested, that’s completely fair. It was simply a suggestion for moving forward.”

AKA, it hasn't been very long at all since they've started traveling but lucy is already fed up with arguing constantly with the ghoul, so she offers an alternate way to settle disputes...cooper denies the suggestion but that doesn't mean it's the end of the debate
