"Okay!" Enid squeaked, practically lunging forward to cover Wednesday's mouth with her free hand. "She's clearly very drunk and doesn't know what she's saying!"
But Wednesday, surprisingly strong in her inebriated state, just pushed her hand away. "Don't silence the data, Enid," she scolded, her tone serious. "It's a critical observation. The clenching... it's recurring. Involuntary spasms. It's... distracting."
Yoko let out a choked sound that was half-laugh, half-gasp. Bianca just stared, her mouth agape, looking like she'd witnessed a car crash in slow motion.
Wednesday looked down at her own body, then back up at Enid, her expression one of pure, scientific frustration. "I am uncomfortably wet," she declared, as if announcing the results of a lab experiment. "And I require a resolution. This state is... untenable."
