   Summary

   When Draco threatens to move back to England to keep an eye on Narcissa, Narcissa can’t think of anything worse. She loves Draco dearly, but overprotective and clingy are his love language, especially when he’s worried about her. So, she does what any self-respecting witch would do, and lies through her teeth.

   Narcissa claims to be dating Hermione Granger, knowing that their friendship already confuses him enough to make it believable. It will be fine, she tells herself. She’ll keep up the ruse for a few weeks and then tell him they decided they were better off friends.

   But, Draco visits for a holiday anyway, and Narcissa finds she might just enjoy being Hermione’s fake girlfriend. But this is all pretend, right? Hermione doesn’t actually love her, does she?
