“I did not tell you to come back.” Her eyebrow lifts with a silent question to be conveyed. She takes no shame in staring either, analyzing and taking Lauma apart at the shift of each breath she dares to take.
Lauma grimaces at her companion’s words, far less foreign to her attentive gaze.
“Ashru was certain to berate me the same, quite thoroughly in fact. Maybe you should go easy on me?” Nefer snorts at the sentiment– it doesn’t surprise her to hear that Lauma wasted time bickering with him, she’s just sad to hear that she had to miss it this time.
“The Moonchanter is spoiled by soft hands of favor from the Frostmoon Scion; but do remember, the Curatorium of Secrets is a neutral establishment.”
Singled out with the highest probable success rate, Lauma is sent back to the Curatorium of Secrets to persuade Nefer into joining the meeting pertaining to Rerir.
