    Alone in the bathroom, with a leash connecting him to L on the other side of the door, Light stares at his reflection in the mirror. Solitary confinement has done a number on him, dark circles rivalling L’s surrounded by gaunt, sickly skin. His eyes are tired and dim, and his shaking hands look weak under the artificial light.
    How could L suspect someone so weak of being Kira? he wonders, anger flaring in his chest. Can’t he see that Kira has destroyed him, too?
