“You can’t hide from me, Himeko,” Kafka cooed, leaning in so that her breath tickled the back of the nun’s neck, “I see how your fingers so delicately bent in prayer reach deep inside of yourself, reaching for the heaven inside of your body. The way you anoint yourself with unholy oils and cry for the salvation of your own pleasure. Have you no shame, Sister? I do not believe those are the acts of a chaste and godly woman.”

Rumi was everyone's type, but she was their goddess.

They just had to wait for the right time to worship her in private.

She was theirs, she just didn't know it yet.

    Summary

Water runs as she turns the handle of the faucet, palms cupping together to gather water and splash on her face. Rumi breathes in deeply as she takes a moment to calm down. She’s patting her face dry when she feels it—a weight in her core, something there… between her legs where just a moment ago there was nothing.

“Don’t tell me…” Rumi starts as she stares at her crotch, confusion and a hint of trepidation washing over her as she looks at the seam of her pants like it’s going to sprout a demon mouth and eat her face. Her hand fumbles for her phone, fingers tapping erratically until the calendar app opens up. Her eyes scan the rows of weeks before settling on the notification of their vacation day. Her mouth moves silently, counting the days of the last full moon.

And then Rumi stops, eyes shaking as they hone in on today’s date. The full moon began at midnight.

She squeezes her eyes shut, stifling a groan as she comes to a realization.

    Her demon rut has arrived.

They say it’s just an affair. No promises. No feelings.
But Elphaba spreads her legs and begs for Glinda’s seed like she wants to be claimed—bred full, kept, and used until she’s dripping with everything Glinda gives her.
And Glinda never leaves her wanting. She fills her, again and again, until Elphaba knows exactly who she belongs to.
It was supposed to be simple. But Glinda claims her like she plans to stay.

    Fire.

Blazing heat rains down from above.

    She’s surrounded by flames.

    She falls.

A star streaking down from the heavens.

Burned up by the atmosphere, nothing but a certain and inevitable end. Like a shooting star, there is a wish hung on her demise.

    Live.

    A wish for life.

    One that begins with death.

The same dream haunts her in the dark. Visions of her descent, her final moments, of another life perhaps. Her own death.

"Nightmare, darling?" A leather gloved hand carefully brushes a few strands of hair out of her face, pulling her from the throes of darkness, from the inferno that engulfs her.

    Kafka.

Why is she here? Himeko pushes her away. This is not how she wants Kafka to see her. Whenever Kafka shows up, they fuck, and Himeko is not in the mood for that tonight. Some part of her wants more than that. But she knows that's not possible, after all, who would want someone who sees her own death whenever she closes her eyes?

    ///

The three times that Himeko has a nightmare and Kafka is there to wake her with milk for her coffee, and the one time that she isn't.

“My love for you outshines any other frivolous ambitions I may hold, Miss Thropp, so enough with the protests and do take responsibility for it. My only loyalty is to my heart, that of which you remain the sole keeper of- you wouldn’t dare disrespect me to throw that away, right?”

A soft smile appears on Elphaba’s. “I wouldn’t dare dream of it, Miss Glinda.“
