Summary
Inspired by Spencer B’s ballet AU
Jaskier was a child prodigy who burned out before he was sixteen. Now he's going from job to job with no aim in life until he meets Geralt Rivia - the famously strong ballet dancer who has also fallen from grace after an accident that he still blames himself for.
Geralt sees a potential dance partner in Jaskier and maybe even a chance for redemption. Jaskier, meanwhile, just wants to get laid.

Summary
When Geralt gets close he sees that Jaskier’s eyes are shut. He’s breathing freely, just a little congested from the plaster that’s settled on his skin, making him look chill and dead. “Jaskier,” Geralt says, relieved, “wake up.” He reaches to touch the bard’s cheek.
But his fingers fail to make contact. They slide away when they get near, as if his body is coated in oil, or grease; something slick that allows no purchase. He tries again, pressing harder, and the resistance hardens in turn, like glass beneath his fingers, smooth and cold.
“Jaskier,” he says again, and winces at the desperation in his voice. He touched the emerald, and it did something to him. Mad Tymon was right: it contained power. A curse.
Geralt takes a contract to investigate a haunted house, and ends up haunting it.

What will he say today, I wonder. I turn on my computer, I wait impatiently as it boots up. I go on-line, and my breath catches in my chest until I hear three little words: You’ve got mail. I hear nothing, not even a sound on the streets of New York, just the beat of my own heart. I have mail. From you. // A You've Got Mail AU.

Summary
Everything is all at once very different. The cage stretches much farther above him than it did before, and it also shines unusually. Actually, literally everything looks different now, infinitely more colorful with shades he doesn’t even know the names of. His heart is pounding concerningly fast and hard- feeling like it’s going to burst out of his chest.
“What did you do to me,” he tries to say, except what actually happens is a weird pattern of chirps and screeches that his vocal cords should not be able to produce, except that they obviously can now. He tries to push himself up and finds that he can’t do so with his wings and he’s got fucking wings instead of arms, what the fuck.
“Interesting,” the witch says, and it sounds strange and loud and jarring. “How fitting for you, little lark.”
OR
Jaskier gets cursed to be a lark with a strange failsafe to turn him back. Geralt misses this, and realizes too late that he's not ready to lose his bard.
