In-ho gasped in surprise. Since he woke up, this was the first time Gi-hun had called him so directly, even though that wasn't his name.
"Yes?"
"Why... why?" The man looked at him directly for the first time.
"What do you want to know, Gi-hun?" He spoke softly.
"Why didn't you let me die?" He said with tears in his eyes. And breathing with difficulty, even though he was wearing a mask to help him breathe.
"I couldn't leave you there... I... I couldn't..." he said as he held the sleeping baby in his lap even closer.
Or, In-ho saves Gi-hun and the baby, and after months in a coma, Gi-hun finally wakes up and they finally understand each other, or almost.
