His boyfriend was the one who was an expert on all things Ilya, given the fact that Shane was Ilya's husband and not Hayden. Hayden wasn't even Ilya's boyfriend.

    But Shane is in Toronto for a photoshoot, and, most importantly, he asked Hayden to come be with Ilya, to take care of him. There's a number of people he could have called. But he called Hayden.
