Summary
SpongeBob SquarePants is what many would consider the happiest creature in the sea. The yellow sponge would even agree with that statement. He had the best job at the best place in Bikini Bottom, the best friends he could ask for, and the best pet snail. He'd even say he had many skills to offer the people of Bikini Bottom. However, since Valentine's Day, he had begun to feel strange and didn't understand his new resentment towards romance or love. He has also been more insecure about messing things up, especially for his friend Squidward. Will he figure out why he feels this way and find the missing piece of his life?

Summary
It's unbearably hot, Snufkin is tired, and Moomin is dramatic. So, not too far off from your typical day in Moominvalley.
Though, something besides heat is lingering in the air. And maybe it's finally being pulled to the surface.
“I did something foolish this morning,” Snufkin admitted, eyes trained off to the side, “Something I don't normally do. Something I'm not sure I should admit.”
Moomin let out a gasp, already becoming concerned, “Snufkin, you're not… secretly cursed, or… or dying or something, are you?”
Snufkin huffed out a tiny, fond breath, “Not quite.”

“You still think I should speak with him.” It sounded like an accusation, but Moomintroll knew Snufkin well enough to know it was a sincere question. His friend was just having an internal battle.
“I do,” Moomintroll said. “What can it hurt?”
“Oh, Moomintroll,” Snufkin said, his voice sad. “Everything.”
“I don’t understand.” There was nothing safer than family. They held you up and made you stronger. Why couldn’t Snufkin see that?
“And it makes me happy that you don’t. It shows just how loved you are.”
“But you’re loved too, Snufkin. Far more than you realise, I should think.”
After a bad injury leaves him bed bound for months, Snufkin struggles with his slow road to recovery, his feelings for Moomintroll, and the feral cat man he's never met who suddenly wants to be his dad.

Summary
A small smile hooks Snufkin’s lips, pulling slightly. “I listen more than I speak, as I’m sure you can tell. I try to make note of words, for they hold such meaning.” Just like that, the smile fades. “I never had the chance to learn how to read words on paper, although.”
An idea comes to him then, a brilliant, wonderful idea. “Maybe I could teach you?” The offer came easily - meaning nothing to the troll, not even thinking over it. But to Snufkin, it leaves him crumbling.
When Snufkin looks into his kind, blue eyes, he knows his offer is genuine. Everything about the troll is genuine. And for some reason, that makes his heart shatter - as if everything he learned about people (how they could never do a thing for another person without some sort of reward) was a complete falsehood.

Summary
There was something that Snufkin had said, after they’d settled in each other’s arms to sleep, relaxed and purring happily but tired from the emotionally draining conversation, that was giving Moomin an idea. A rather good idea at that, if he did say so himself.
A direct sequel to "your smile brings sunshine/your tears bring rain (you're my whole world)"
