The smell in the room was almost sterile, the only thing he could recognize was the constant pollution around Gotham and the smell of trash, piss and cigar that was always present near the warehouses that common criminals used, because the rogues warehouses had a brand to adhere to and smelled different. In one of the other ones Audrey’s grandma almost gave her away to Chad. Would that have been a different story or would he not love her either? I think it would have been different and better for Audrey and Chad than their relationships with Ben. Also Chad grandpa is no joke. I wonder if Chad can fight.
