Summary
The Sorting Hat didn't suggest Slytherin because Harry had a piece of Voldemort's soul in him. Harry is plenty cunning and intelligent all by himself. Living with an abusive family will do that to you. What's more Slytherin than getting yourself sorted into Gryffindor to hide your true self after all?
Over his first year at Hogwarts, Harry starts to notice things – like how Dumbledore seems to be hiding the truth from him. And how both Snape and Malfoy are plenty nice – even if they are tossers.
It doesn't take long for Harry to start questioning who the real villain is. Voldemort or Dumbledore... or both. And what the hell is he supposed to do about it? Especially when he starts to fall in love with his Slytherin allies and his loyalties become that much harder to hide. -

Summary
Hermione is clever, yes. But she’s also a daredevil and somewhat naive. Not your typical plutocrat at all. Having grown up on an isolated island, her values are certainly… different. It at least explains why she dashes off to a “normal” school instead of a world cruise when she’s finally let off her island. Freedom isn’t free though, and now she is suddenly being thrust into the real world and told she must learn the duties of her position as heir to the most powerful muggle alive: Tom Marvolo Prince.
Draco has loved Hermione for a decade, but when Tom challenges her to a marriage game in which he is not a candidate, will he be able to change her perception of him from brother to lover? Will he be able to prove his worth by protecting her from everything Tom places in their path? And is he willing to give up everything, even his duty as head of the Malfoy family, for her?
Being heir to a corporate throne is all very well, but along the way Hermione will realise that she is involved in a far greater plot, and that she is the key figure in the political intrigue of the oldest nation on Earth...

Like a dog, the Joker comes when he is called. Like a mutt, Bruce has thought in his less charitable moments, but now he finds that he is pathetically grateful that in this one way he is unerringly predictable.
It is not until he sees him, though, (feline, cat-like, slinking from the shadows with his red raw grin tipped upwards into a knowing smile) that Bruce realises that he has not thought this through.
