Summary
The Sorting Hat didn't suggest Slytherin because Harry had a piece of Voldemort's soul in him. Harry is plenty cunning and intelligent all by himself. Living with an abusive family will do that to you. What's more Slytherin than getting yourself sorted into Gryffindor to hide your true self after all?
Over his first year at Hogwarts, Harry starts to notice things – like how Dumbledore seems to be hiding the truth from him. And how both Snape and Malfoy are plenty nice – even if they are tossers.
It doesn't take long for Harry to start questioning who the real villain is. Voldemort or Dumbledore... or both. And what the hell is he supposed to do about it? Especially when he starts to fall in love with his Slytherin allies and his loyalties become that much harder to hide. -

Summary
Hermione is clever, yes. But she’s also a daredevil and somewhat naive. Not your typical plutocrat at all. Having grown up on an isolated island, her values are certainly… different. It at least explains why she dashes off to a “normal” school instead of a world cruise when she’s finally let off her island. Freedom isn’t free though, and now she is suddenly being thrust into the real world and told she must learn the duties of her position as heir to the most powerful muggle alive: Tom Marvolo Prince.

The look in Crocodile’s eyes nearly floors him – there’s such desire there that Buggy can hardly bare to perceive it. Crocodile rakes him over, taking him in, from the jewels glinting at his throat to the trail of hair at his navel, and the cold crystals circling his slender waist.
Suddenly, Buggy understands.

Summary
Yakuza hitman Kisuke stumbles into the yard of kindergartner teacher Ichigo with a bullet in his leg. Luckily for him, Ichigo's dealt with this kind of thing before. Unluckily (or maybe it's still lucky), Ichigo's hot and Kisuke can't avoid noticing, even if he has lost a lot of blood.
Warning: there's like, semi graphic depictions of surgery. I don't think it's that bad but, yeah, fair warning.

Summary
Kisuke hides his eyes under the brim of his hat, and a now teenage Ichigo, all brash and fiery, just assumes he's some slightly creepy shopkeep who knows too much but says too little. But with Rukia around and butting into the conversation, he can't focus too much on why the hat wearing man feels so familiar, and why it bothers him so much that he can't get a good look at his eyes.

Ichigo has a weekly routine: head back to Karakura, spar with Kisuke - Getaboushi, he means Getaboushi, go to dinner with his sisters and drag Kisuke along, and then bemoan the state of his homework around whatever mission the Gotei 13 may or may not make up for him to do in a given day.
It works! For the most part. Except, well, Yuzu just had to bring up anniversaries.

“Problem, boss?”
“No no,” Kisuke answered absently.
Tessai shook his head slightly. “Didn’t like the paint?”
Kisuke pulled at the brim of his hat. “Something like that,” he admitted after a long pause.
“Ah. There is time to make a batch of the solvent and his place isn’t far off our route. If you would like it dropped off before he stews too long.”
Kisuke winced. Ichigo wasn’t vindictive over the small things, but he’d… not sounded like this was registering as a small thing. And Kisuke still wasn’t quite sure how they’d ended up dating but he certainly didn’t want to screw it up over a bit of ill-received morbid humor. He sighed. “I’ve already some made up, thank you.”
Tessai nodded and waited for Kisuke to dig out the jar. “Sure you don’t want to accompany us to dinner?” A glance was flicked at Kisuke’s clothing with a silent ‘everyone would assume you’re in costume, after all’ somewhat loud in the air.
