Tom found the book on the bestseller table and had to laugh. It was an awful book. A terrible book. One of those preachy hardcovers filled with impossible advice by self-described "perfect parents".
His laughter stops when he realizes;
1) they're parents now
2) they've got no clue how to do this
3) apparently, despite everything, Sonic thinks just some friends letting him crash in the attic
