Alicent gives birth to a son alongside Helaena, a quiet boy, sharing a drop of his sister's strangeness. A son more cut out to be more diplomat than warrior... Fit to be molded by her- or by her father, to suit their whims, needs and plans. One fit to look after his siblings in her stead... loving his mother and asking for naught in return. A son with a mind all too susceptible to be warped by a bond with a solitary dragon, loathe and fearful of man in equal measure.
Alicent and Helaena's OC twin serve as the two main characters of this fic, sharing the spotlight in mostly equal measure; following Alicent's long road from anxious child bride to imperious Queen
