    As the youngest and seemingly the weakest member of the resistance, Tails feels like a burden to his team. Hes not the fastest, or the strongest, and while he is the smartest, he feels that it isnt enough.

    Determined to prove himself TO himself, he enlists the help of Knuckles the Echidna for training.

    However, the idea of training the kit seems to feed the guardian's pride, and when he gloats to Sonic about Tails asking for help, Sonic gets jealous, and a bet is set.

    Can Sonic train Tails to be faster than he is strong by the end of three months? Will Knuckles prove himself the superior teacher? Or will Tails burn out from the dual pressure? Who knows. Only time will tell...

    This is important to remember, considering everything else about them. They are, in fact, siblings. The do share a mother, a royal heritage, and a nose.

    They have the same morbid sense of humor, and—though no one will ever believe Link for saying it—the same filthy mouth.

    Yes, they are siblings. But they aren't twins, least of all identical twins, lest either the King or Link's uncle lied about one of their birthdays by a factor of years. Not a lot of years, but still. The point stands, they are not identical. Or even slightly identical. They barely share more than a passing resemblance to one another.
