It takes a good minute for his phone to power on, and another few seconds for the missed calls and texts messages to come flooding in. Most of them are from Style, but there’s one call from Christ and one voicemail. Kant swallows, certain it’s from him.
There’s no calls or texts from Babe.
Shaking, Kant dials his voicemail and puts his phone against his ear.
“Did you really think your boyfriend could keep you or your brother safe, Kant? I’m not sure you’ll like what I’ve got planned for Babe if you don’t turn you and the brothers in. Oh, and bring your little friend while you’re at it. We’ve got a lot to discuss.”
