Summary
It's suffocating. Demonic impulse claws at the walls of the enclosure Nezha has built for himself since he became a celestial. A constant blaze of chaos and rebellion that once defined the stories of the Lotus Prince.
And yet there's a familiar presence that watches him from afar whenever he sets foot in the mortal plane. One that tempts the demon within, and yearns to set it free.
“I should not be here,” Nezha informs him, a last resort to escape this tantalizing opportunity. “I belong in the Heavens, you belong in the sea.”
“But we both meet in the wind regardless.” Ao Bing’s voice is almost soothing as he comes closer. A hand touches his hair, chilling him so much it almost hurts.
Still, Nezha does not flinch. He wonders, vaguely, if this brief touch alone stings him so much, how it must feel for his pursuer. If he burns where they meet and if he savors the feeling as much as he does.
