Clone Commander Fox has a lot on his hands, the state of his office is a testament to that. What he doesn't need is some vandal making his life more difficult than it already is. Summary
Between the barbs and snide comments, you've grown to give a shit about Ashton-more than he seems to care about himself it seems. When you catch him purposefully neglecting himself, you don't want to leave him wallowing in pain, but convincing them to accept help might be harder than stopping Predathos.
He's stubborn to a fault, but so are you.
The reader is a Paladin of the Dawnfather because I felt like it. The tension of a man who routinely says "fuck the gods" and having to accept help from someone who worships one was just too good to pass up. Also this is intended to be read as either platonic or romantic, both work.
