Summary
If there are authors or stories out there that you'd rather not ever see in your search results again, you can create a site skin to remove them from your browsing experience.
This was first explained in an AO3 News Post, but I'm going to go into more detail so that anyone with an account can do it, with no need to do any coding at all. Just copy/paste.
Updated to include how to block a series! (and a link to how to block tags)

Summary
“Whaddya think, sis?” Jinx says, voice teasing but quiet, “Two young lovers who died in the mines?”
Vi would, usually, say something about being morbid, but there isn’t much space for interpretation; the fact that whoever owned these old, dusty jackets hadn’t come back to retrieve them says volumes about their state of being.
“A long time ago, actually.”
Her mind catches up with her a few seconds too late, starting at the person who’s just arrived behind them, leaning on the doorframe and staring at them with weary eyes. Jinx’s quiet gasp comes from behind her, unsure and disbelieving.
“Silco.”
(or: despite everything he has turned out to be, vander remembers one constant.)

Summary
Mary Bennet has always been the overlooked sister—not pretty enough to attract a husband, not witty enough to amuse her father, not carefree enough to please her mother. But at seventeen, something shifts: a woman from the 21st century awakens within her, carrying memories of another world—and another life.
For two years, Mary prepares. She saves her pocket money, invests in canals, and learns to play the piano for herself rather than for others' approval. She crafts a strategic invisibility, an armor of silence and observation.
But the plot of Pride and Prejudice cares little for plans.
