Summary
After striking a deal with the devil, self-fashioned “Gentleman Scientist” Wilson P. Higgsbury is marooned in a strange world populated by equally strange creatures. He finds he’s not the only one Maxwell has deceived, either, for among the creatures is a cast of unscrupulous characters he wants nothing to do with.
