Summary
It’s San’s idea to play the game.
It’s late enough that they should really be considering going to bed. Hongjoong feels his eyes starting to droop. Can feel the exhaustion starting to cling to his limbs, coaxing him slowly into sweet oblivion. At his side, Seonghwa nods in and out of consciousness, drifting on the fine line between awareness and slumber. Hongjoong can almost feel the way Seonghwa slowly settles against him, face nuzzled into the soft warmth of Hongjoong’s sweater.
(It’s really Yunho’s sweater, but who’s going to call him out on it?)
Across from Hongjoong, the true owner of his favorite sweater lounges on their couch.
Yunho is tall enough that he doesn’t quite fit, legs hanging over one side so his head can rest comfortably on the opposite arm. He doesn’t seem to mind though, especially not when Mingi stretches out on top of him, face pressed against the curve of his neck and fingers twisted in his shirt. Hongjoong smiles at the sight, enjoying the way his boys all settle in their own corners.
It’s quiet, blissfully quiet, so when San speaks, it’s a little too loud. A little too jarring.
“We should play a game.”
