Later, Roy will swear that it started out completely innocently. A bit of harmless fun, though it could be very well argued that he has a slightly skewed understanding of fun. Or harmless, for that matter. The intention is—well, not good-natured, quite the opposite really, but he doesn’t mean for anything in particular to happen. Except having Edward scream at him a little, perhaps, which shouldn’t be something he takes as much pleasure in as he does, he’s aware, though it’s difficult not to when Edward’s rants always make for such great entertainment.
Then again, aggravating his subordinates for his own amusement in the first place is not something he should have any plausible reason for doing—except for the fact that he is a terrible man with a godawful sense of humour and not a shred of healthy sensibility, but that is neither here nor there.
or: Roy merely wants to be little bit of an asshole and accidentally uncovers Edward’s praise kink.

One of the best one-shots i have everr read.. but yeah, the only "flaw" its that the ending its to.... open, lol, but i would return to this over and over again, period. -

Summary

Amazing, theres no other word to describe this. This author writes amazingly, gosh, i couldnt stop reading, even at work, lol... One of my absolut favs Johnlock so far, 10000000/10.
I'm gonna re read it soon, im fuckin sure. Also, im sure this is gonna be one of thoses fics i came back after some months, just to feel the way i did the first time i discover it.
