Summary
To many, Camellia is a land of ice, snow, and magic.
To Kim Dokja, it is a land of dreams, time, and space.
He now understands the sudden change of weather and that shadow that helped him escape the storm as dark dream magic. He still does not know who or what that figure was, but he knows that it saved his life by crossing the boundaries of time and space to enter the world of his dreams and transmigrating him to the world of the Archduchy of Camellia.
And so, he understands that this is a dream world and he is asleep in the town of Arkala.
But this space is so lovely and the arms wrapped around him are warm and comforting— more than anything else in his life, and Kim Dokja doesn't want to wake up from this warm embrace.
A corner of his mind rears its head and whispers the obvious question to him.

“You’re a dying man.” He tightens his grip on his collar, bringing their faces close. “Tell me, why shouldn’t I kill you right now?”
Finally. An expected response. Kim Dokja can’t help the laugh that escapes him, puffing up from his constricted chest.
How predictable. With this rampant individualism ruining peoples’ personalities in the apocalypse, he was bound to find a chance to use his contingency sooner or later.
Mirth stains his tone as he says, “Do you want to see what happens if you try?”
Kim Dokja flicks open his coat in one sharp motion. The man’s eyes widen, his grip immediately loosening. He pushes Kim Dokja right away, jolting backwards.
“You—!”
“Come on.” Kim Dokja grins. His throat rasps out the words, but they still ring out loud and clear. “Weren’t you going to kill me?”
In search of a party in the apocalypse, Kim Dokja ends up finding himself entangled with a true bastard.
