So when Hecate the Goddess of crossroads, one of the few remaining Gods alive, offered him a chance to change everything at the cost of his mortality, he took it and began a new in Ancient Greece, where he would become a hero than a God to change everything.

In Greek Mythology, Aphrodite asked Hera and Hecate for help to reveal soulmarks to help find their soulmates for every being in the mortal world and immortals due to her and Hera's domains weakening from the increased divorce rates and finding the wrong soulmate.
That is how the birth of Soulmarks came to be.
However, no one in Ancient Greece knew or recorded that most of the Olympian Gods except for Poseidon, Zeus, Hades and Persephone shared the same soulmate or that they came from the future in a few millennia.

Somehow he has found himself tangled up with the Erotes, Court of the Underworld, and Sea Council. Wait. He's part fish? AND what do you mean witch?

Percy gets some new powers, learns how to 'play' in the divine world, and navigates the politics of the Greek/Roman Pantheon. When Sally reveals that she is a sea witch Percy must use every advantage he has got to stay alive. Eros taking a special interest in the young demigod's life can't be good. Follow as Percy makes new enemies and alliances, discovers new secrets, and maybe, on the side, starts pushing his own political agenda. (Eventual Romance)
