Summary
“You’re shameless,” Minghao says, and then, because two can play this game, he adds, “nampyeon.” Husband.
Mingyu freezes.
The reaction is instant and spectacular. Color blooms high on his cheekbones, spreading fast, and his breath stutters.
Minghao tilts his head slightly, watching the way Mingyu’s throat works as he swallows. “Oh,” he says lightly. “You liked that.”

Summary
Soonyoung sits up and shuffles closer to Minghao. “So,” she begins, drawing the syllable out teasingly, “how are you going to seduce him? What’s the plan.” She looks far too excited for Minghao’s liking.
Minghao raises an eyebrow at her. “I’m going to sit him down during our date tonight and ask him if he does or does not want to sleep with me and why.”
“Damn, pragmatic as always, Hao-noona,” Chan says with a laugh at Soonyoung’s disappointed expression.
“Boring as always,” Soonyoung pouts.
Minghao reaches over and squeezes Soonyoung’s plush cheeks between her palms. “You don’t get to talk, unnie. I don’t know on which step of your plan to seduce Boo Seungkwan you’re currently on but the last update I got was that she told you’re the worst and the only reason she hasn’t strangled you yet is because she’s too pretty to go to jail.”

Summary
“I watched you tonight," Minghao says. “You read every shift in that room. You made it through a minefield of politics and expectations. You understand the stakes. You know how to use the moment.” Another pause, and then: “That’s the kind of mind I want at my side.”
Hansol doesn’t miss a beat. “A beta and an omega,” he says, voice cool with mockery. “How the alphas will tremble before us.”
Minghao meets the challenge head-on. “They should.”
It lands between them with weight. Real and sudden.
And Hansol goes still. Minghao feels the change in him. The pause in his breath, the way something in his posture recalibrates.
“They should,” Hansol echoes, and this time, it sounds like a promise.
And Minghao sees it. The flicker of something almost feral in his eyes. Heat, yes. Hunger, even. But more than that: excitement. The shape of a man who has never been offered real power and is just now realizing he might take it anyway.

Summary
Minghao hums, thumb brushing lightly behind Mingyu’s ear, comforting and patronizing all at once. “Did you ever notice that all the people you hook up with expect you to take the lead? They all see you that way: big guy, strong, in charge.”
Mingyu swallows hard. He hadn’t… thought of it like that. But it’s true.
“And every time you come back here, disappointed. So maybe that’s not what you need, have you ever considered that?” Minghao leans down, just a little, his voice barely above a whisper. “Maybe you need someone else to take over. To decide for you. To tell you what to do. What you’re for.”
Mingyu shivers. “I—”
“I could do that for you,” Minghao says, low and unflinching. “If you want.”

Summary
Minghao opens the door, and into Joshua's apartment steps someone who is—unfortunately—ridiculously hot.
Tall. Broad. Warm smile that lights up his whole face. The world’s best canine teeth. He takes his shoes off like he belongs there. Immediately kisses Minghao hello. Then turns to Joshua and grins.
“Hi! I’m Mingyu. I’ve heard a lot about you.”
Joshua forgets how to breathe.
Thirty minutes later, Mingyu is doing pushups in Joshua’s living room with two five-year-old on his back. Minghao is sitting cross-legged on the rug like nothing is wrong.
Joshua is holding a baby. Covered in glitter. And very possibly in love.

Summary
“Any topics you want to learn to talk about in particular?” his tutor, Madam Liu, asks.
“Music?” Mingyu tries. “And art. And, uh. Feelings?”
There’s a beat of silence. “Feelings,” Madam Liu repeats, slowly, clearly unimpressed.
“I mean—not, like, deep feelings,” Mingyu rushes to explain. “Just stuff like, ‘You did a good job’ or ‘Your outfit is cool today’ or ‘Hey, I really like your face and also possibly your soul, but in a chill, friendly way.’ You know?”
Madam Liu blinks at him. “So… compliments. Emotional nuance. Casual admiration of someone’s face and… soul.”

Or: Mingyu starts learning Mandarin to tell Minghao he likes his face. He ends up understanding a lot more than that.

Summary
“Okay, this is a good one,” Jeonghan announces. Which, of course, means it’s a terrible one.
Joshua stiffens. The hand on his shoulder squeezes.
Oh, this is it.
Jeonghan pauses, ever the showman, making sure that everyone (Joshua) is properly terrified (he is). Then, he smirks.
“Never have I ever…”
Fucking hell.
“… had a wet dream about a member.”
---
Or: Jeonghan gets his revenge on Joshua for stealing his snacks, and might just get Joshua a boyfriend in the process

Summary
Jongho leads Seungmin toward his and Mingi’s room, subtly glancing back to make sure he is following and not, heaven forbid, getting sidetracked by his hyung’s antics.
“Second drawer of Mingi’s nightstand; have fun, you two!” Wooyoung calls after them with a cackle. “Wooyoung-ah, oh my god, shut up!” Yunho urges but he is laughing, and San has dissolved into a fit of giggles.
Jongho, with self-discipline deserving of multiple awards, does not turn around on the spot and commit gruesome triple-homicide.
---
Jongho has a plan on how to ask Seungmin out. His hyungs have other ideas. Seungmin is just there for the ride.

Summary
“Hyung, you know the rules. No fooling around when we have people at the dorm.” As if to illustrate Jongho’s point, Wooyoung and Changbin’s roaring laughter rings through the apartment, Felix’s quieter giggle woven into the mix.
“We’ll just have to be quiet,” Yunho shrugs, like it’s no big deal.
“Please, no one in this group is capable of being quiet,” Jongho grumbles.
"You are," Yunho says, his voice low as he brushes his hand over the front of Jongho’s sweatpants, where he’s already half-hard just from kissing. Jongho lets out a surprised breath but doesn’t make a sound otherwise. Point proven.

Summary
“That’s it, just like that, Bin-ah. Just relax, hyung will take care of you.”
When Sik rakes his fingers over Sungbin’s back, a shiver runs down his spine, and Sungbin can’t stop himself from grinding his hips against the mattress again.
“So desperate already… Well, you never have been good at waiting for what you want, have you?”
