Sete anos se passaram, e a paixão silenciosa de Draco nunca encontrou espaço para se revelar. Até o dia em que uma cartinha apareceu em meio aos seus livros. A letra era horrível, cheia de garranchos, mas as palavras eram doces, sinceras — meio bregas.
Malfoy não evitou sorrir.
O que ele imaginava era que aquelas cartas não eram do garoto dos seus sonhos, Harry Potter.
Cansados das provocações do grupinho da Sonserina, alguns alunos bolaram um plano cruel: fazer Draco Malfoy acreditar em algo que ele sempre quis. Não era real.

“Michael. Would you be upset if I told you I wasn’t your mommy?” She had asked. Mike could see how crestfallen she was. Her cheeks were like fresh, ripe apples—all red and shiny. Sweat beaded her forehead as though raindrops lingering on the windows. Her lips were quivering as if an engine was running out of steam in her mouth.
Mike didn’t know how to approach the question at first, as though it were a rabid animal you wouldn't get too close or it would bite. But he answered slowly, “I think I’d be sad,” he said, tilting his head slightly to one side. “But that isn’t true, so I dunno,” he shrugged nonchalantly.
His father and mother exchanged a worried glance. A glance that made Mike’s tummy turn just a little too much for his comfort. “Why, is something the matter?”

"You seem like an interesting guy, Takemitchy," Mikey speaks, drawling the last syllable of each word. "Starting today, you're my friend, okay?"
Draken makes a mental note to remember Takemichi's surprised face as one of the funniest grimaces he's ever seen. Maybe the guy isn't as emotionally constipated as he thought.
As the explanation goes on, Draken casts occasional glances in Mikey's direction and finds that his friend's eyes don't leave Takemichi for a second. Mikey watches him with a peculiar seriousness, not a malicious one, but rather the one that tells Draken that Takemichi will be a frequent guest in Toman from now on.
Tokyo Manji Gang are the rising stars of Tokyo's delinquent world, but an appearance of a mysterious blue-eyed boy and the following string of intrigue threaten to upset their undisturbed ascent. In the meanwhile, Takemichi struggles to manage his own gang and makes some unlikely alliances to keep his head above water.
