Summary
Uzushio was a horror on a scale he should never have known. Skeletal bodies littered the streets, Shinobi and civilians, the old and young, all lay there equal on the shattered streets of Uzushio. He had hoped for a sea of crimson hair when he arrived, but all the half-drowned boy was met with was a sea of deep brown blood, dried in rivers along the streets. Some bodies lay crushed under buildings, some burnt to a crisp, some with sharpened ninja tools still piercing their skulls, unretrieved by the attacker. And Naruto, the boy with too much love that he was, cried for every last one.
