Summary
Gwaine stumbles out of a losing battle bleeding and half-dead, only to collapse in a strange forest where nothing behaves as it should. There he meets Merlin—an otherworldly, feral forest spirit who heals him without hesitation and immediately declares him in debt.
The price, it turns out, is not gold, but impossible errands, stolen treasures, and “shiny things” no human is meant to find.
