Summary
Sirius Black is an insomniac heart surgeon who's dating a guy he kinda likes. He loves his dog and that dog is the only thing that can help him snatch a few hours of sleep here and there. He's passionate about his job, but losing patients is really hard on him. He doesn't really believe in any sort of life after death.
Remus is an etherial being who helps keep the world spinning by pushing people in the right direction and escorting the newly dead to wherever it is they go next. He's loved watching humanity, but has never really wanted to be one of them.
Things change for both of them.
James Potter is an adorable pediatric doctor. Duh!

Summary
I decided to write the Marauders as American and living in a city I have visited because I don't want to butcher the Britishisms. It's funny because I actually had to stop myself using terms like "pub night" or "best mate" because I just read so much marauders fan fic, that's how I'm programmed to write now. Anyway, I just hate seeing how AI is ruining everything and people are using it for writing fan fic and much more impactful things! Not to mention the fact that it's fucking terrible for the environment!! Like, the blue whales have stopped singing, y'all! This is critical!!
So, obviously I did not use AI for any of this. It's really so easy to brainstorm and write without that! I would never download or use a chat bot or use it for searches, so I really don't know how it works. All I know is what I read and hear from other people.
Fuck chat GPT, fuck character AI, and fuck JKR for good measure. Not a long fic. Probably not even that well written. I just know Remus would hate it and that was my inspiration for this story. Rated Teen and up because I am not able to write a fic without curse words. -

Summary
As Sirius and Buckbeak fly south after narrowly escaping death, or worse, he can’t stop thinking about Harry. Harry was as brilliant, kind and brave as James - of course he was. But, there was something else there, something Sirius recognized, not because his godson is the spitting image of his best friend, but because Sirius senses that Harry might not be safe at the Dursley's. The thought is terrifying. Why would Harry want to leave his family’s house so badly? Indeed, Sirius recognized a familiar desperation in the look on Harry’s face when he offered him a different home. Sirius knew because James had offered the same, all those years ago; an escape from the nightmare of Number 12 Grimmauld Place. Sirius decides that he can’t leave the country without asking the only person who would know - he sets course for Wales, hoping that Remus Lupuin still owns the cottage his parents had lived in.
Rated T for language in later chapters.

Summary
When Sirius accompanied his best friend to Frystmark for the annual council, he expected to be very bored and very cold while his royal friends did...whatever it was they did for their yearly meetings. That expectation was utterly destroyed within a few days of arriving, when three things occurred entirely out of his control:
1. He met Remus, the exceptional (and exceptionally freckled) prince of Frystmark
2. He learned to ice skate on a frozen lake
3. The city was attacked, sending him and his six new friends on a wild chase across the continent with assassins on their tail and a quest for a magic dagger dangling ahead, all because the terrible honor of killing an unkillable king fell into their laps. It's just saving the world, after all. No pressure.
(Medieval AU where James, Marlene, Dorcas, and Remus are royalty, Sirius and Peter are hanging on for dear life, and Lily wishes she never left the forest)
