Summary
It is Harry's Fifth Year, fifteen years after the death of his parents and his vanquishing of Voldemort during the Second Dark Wizarding War. Fifteen years since he was adopted by his godfather, Sirius Black, and took up residence in Nr. 12 Grimmauld Place, where he was raised with the loving remnants of the Black family. Eager for the new year at Hogwarts, and the opportunity to spend time with his honorary aunt Bellatrix and uncle Remus, Harry starts his new year off with a positive attitude. His attitude, however, falls drastically when Remus Lupin, the Care for Magical Creatures Professor, comes down with a serious unknown illness while teaching, and a stranger comes to Hogwarts at the behest of Headmistress McGonagall.

Summary
It's been two years since the Dark Lord's second rise and near victory brought wizarding Britain to its knees. The wounds are still deep, and the effects are still felt. In a world filled with lingering loss, Harry Potter and Nymphadora Tonks still search for some semblance of normalcy amongst it all.
Harry just wants to move on and be happy, but nobody told him being an adult after a personal war would be so isolating. Being The Boy-Who-Lived and The Man-Who-Won, Harry finds himself stuck between pressure for a job he doesn't want, out-of-reach friends and missing all the loved ones that died along the way. The worst scars are the ones no one can see, and it's the nightmares that have him questioning whether he'll ever be able to put the shadow of a madman behind him.
Tonks misses her husband. She misses the simple days of sitting at the pub with friends. She misses the job she was good at. She thinks of the times she sat by a cozy fire, laughing with her cousin and a boy with green eyes. The one solace she has is the baby Remus left her, a boy she loves with all her heart. The worst scars are the ones no one can see, and it's the nightmares that have Tonks questioning when she stopped smiling so easily.
