But what they don’t tell you is that it’s lonely. You’re stuck here, surrounded by everything that has ever and will ever happen, watching every version of your life—your brother’s life, your children’s lives, everyone’s—just flow on by. So in hindsight... yeah, maybe you would rather be a crocodile.
