He grabs her shoulders and walks her backward, and she lets him, right until she bumps into the workbench where he and Olric throw their extra forging items. Coal and miscellaneous metal pieces scatter around their feet as he sweeps them onto the ground before propping her up.
Then he drops to his knees, and the word worship comes to her mind.
The farmer wonders who wins in a game of living in the other's head rent free.

Summary
Looking for change, Capitol florist Junie takes up a vaguely too-good-to-be-true offer left on the bulletin board of her local adventurer’s guild and moves to a long-neglected farm in Mistria. She finds herself immediately woven into the warm fabric of the town’s people, with one exception. The town’s handsome but sour blacksmith who wants nothing to do with her.
