The shouting caught the attention of most of the Great Hall, and there were loads of eyes on Harry, but he didn't notice. He was too worked up, too absorbed in their fight to remember that it was very public, and that he was very famous. He turned fully towards Ron, and Hermione was nervously watching from behind. She chewed on her thumbnail, unsure of whether she should butt in and interrupt Harry, or if she needed to let him say his piece.
And honestly, she wasn't entirely convinced she'd be able to get him to stop without using magic anyway.
"I didn't ask to be the saviour. I didn't ask to be the Chosen One, or the Boy Who Lived. I didn't ask to lose my goddamn parents! I didn't ask to be left on a doorstep to be raised by Muggles who didn't give a crap about me! I did not ask to be gay, I didn't ask for you to hate me because of it, and I sure as shit didn't ask to be in love with Draco fucking Malfoy!"

Summary
Honestly, Harry should've known something was wrong. Besides the sudden and unwelcome arrival of Dolores Umbridge, there had been no unsavoury events since his trial over the summer - and it was six weeks into Fifth Year.
So when his perfect Potion that he and Malfoy had *somehow* found a way to cooperate through exploded with devastating side effects and no clear end date in sight, he almost felt more calm, less like he was on the edge of his seat, anticipating something tragic.

"Clark." Lex drawled, breaking the silence. "To what do I owe the pleasure?"
The way Lex said it, so sarcastic and cold and insincere, made Clark freeze and, for the first time, actually start to rethink this ridiculous plan of his. The contrast of the way he said those few words now versus how he had said them a hundred times before, as if Clark were a treasure and the genius, rich, billionaire was in awe of being in his presence (the presence of a simple farm boy redneck high schooler) gnawed at Clark's heart.
"I know we've grown apart. I know you hate me for lying to you. I know you know I resent you for lying right back." Clark started. He paused, waiting for Lex to cut in with a hasty correction, ("I would never lie to you, Clark.") but when nothing came, and Lex was just staring at him with mild interest and his head propped up on his hand, Clark felt a bubble of guilt spawn in his gut for immediately assuming Lex would combat him. "But I'm here to tell you the truth. I'm here to make it right."

Clark tells Lex everything, starting with his secret alien biology and ending with his hopeless crush on him.

Summary
Harry’s Malfoy-free life after the war is going swimmingly.
Until Hagrid, for some unfathomable reason, seems to adopt Malfoy like a particularly prickly blast-ended skrewt. Luna’s joined the fan club, too.
Now Harry’s stuck at Hogwarts all summer helping with the repairs, while Malfoy’s stuck there on probation. It’s enough to make Harry furious.
So when he catches Malfoy sneaking off into the Forbidden Forest, obviously Harry follows. Because Malfoy’s definitely up to something.

Summary

Summary
Seeing Draco’s bum – not looking at it, but just seeing it – well, it’s a natural consequence of this new friendship level they’ve reached in the last year or so, the one where they go out to pubs together, listen to the Quidditch together, drink too many pints together. Draco’s Diagon Alley flat is a convenient staggering distance from the Leaky, and Harry’s house is way the fuck over in Islington, so it makes perfect sense that Harry spends most Friday nights crashing on Draco’s sofa.
Another Friday night sleeping on Draco Malfoy's couch, and it's not a big deal that Draco's walking around in his pants. And it doesn't mean anything that Harry keeps noticing Draco's arse.
