“You- ugh- you can’t laugh, okay?” Jason leaned back on the half-wet counter, arms crossing over his chest defensively.
“Yeah, sweetpea, I’d never.” Roy agreed, probably far too quickly.
Another pause lulled between the two of them, and Roy was about to ask Jason if everything was alright when the younger of the two mumbled something quietly. Roy blinked for a moment.
“What was that? Sorry, I didn’t hear you.”
“I said-” Jason finally looked up to meet Roy’s eyes, with much more confidence than Roy assumed he really had. “I said I’ve never-...I’ve never actually…had sex…before..” He finished lamely, eyes quickly finding the floor again.
