In a world where everyone can use magic, a rare few receive Blessings, powerful magical abilities that they can use on top of regular magic. The Conclave of the Blessed, an annual gathering of Blessed from all over the world, is set to happen soon. 16 people, including our protagonist, a girl in a difficult situation hoping to get help from the other guests, enter the doors of the Conclave… only to wake up in a mysterious underground cave, several of the Conclave’s buildings having been transported with them. The culprit? Ibis, the god of death himself. And according to him, if you want to escape, all you have to do is kill someone and get away with it. Fail and be exposed in the subsequent trial, and you get executed. But succeed, and everyone else dies instead…

Summary
