“..he just wouldn't know what to do with you, if he saw you like this,” the Cat King drags his claws up Edwin’s sternum, drawing pretty patterns in the mirror, “He’d just stand there like a moron. Couldn’t pick his jaw up off the ground.”
Loverboy sort of twitches, all over, like a puppet with its strings yanked.

Summary
Edwin grabs one of the pens from the desk, meeting up with Thomas in the center of the room, and he hands over the objects. "Please explain in detail how this occurred. We have no current case at the moment and I find myself…eager to start another.”
Thomas takes the notebook and pen, noting how much care Edwin takes in making sure they do not touch. He immediately opens it up to the first page, scribbles down his first note, 'missed you.' and turns it towards Edwin whose lips go thin.
"This doesn't pertain to the case." Edwin says mildly.
