Summary
Upon entering the room, they are greeted with a palpable level of tension in the air, at that moment, both boys had entered a state of great alert, the news that was about to come was certainly not good at all.
"I believe you heard the rumors." Mori begins. "There have been some invasion attempts by the pro heroes, who according to them were to "save" Yokohama."
"... you don't mean that- but it would mean that we would have-.... I hate you."
"So much hate, Dazai-kun! That would hurt my feelings!"
"Excuse me, but what did I miss?"
"Slug can't think? Mori-san wants us to do an infiltration mission... considering all this movement with the heroes, us being of high school age, you want us to go to UA-" Before he can finish his reasoning, Dazai is cut off by a shocked scream (which sounded more like a cry for help) from Chuuya.
"Why?! With all due respect, BUT WHY?! We're not the only ones of high school age, and why leave your best executives on the bench?! Worse, how are we supposed to behave as aspiring heroes?"

Summary
A rapid infection, the doctor later explains. The odds were less than 15% that Dazai’s body would be able to fight it off. And, even if he did miraculously survive that, walking would be unbelievably painful, with the breaks he sustained. It would hurt every step, and radiate up. He’d always need a mobility aid. Maybe it would turn out he’d need it amputated anyway.
The choice was logical, in Dazai’s mind. Keep your patient alive, albeit with a small cost, or risk him almost surely dying just to have him be in pain for the rest of his days with his mobility affected more than it would’ve if the limb was gone.
He understands it. If he was in the doctor’s shoes, he would’ve done the same.
Then why does he feel so bad?
