It should've ended there. Another weird Potter thing, another quirk in a long list of unexplainable habits. But it clung to Theo like the scent of spilled potion on robes-impossible to ignore. Something about the casual precision, the controlled failure. It scratched at the edge of his logic, begging to be solved.
And Theo had never been particularly good at leaving puzzles alone.
