“Besides, Bobby says-”
“Wait? Bobby?” Lenny sits up straight. “You call him Bobby?!”
“He calls me Midge.” She says it like this’s nothing at all. “Miriam and Robert is a bit of a mouthful.
“Mrs. Maisel, do I need to be concerned?” Lenny’s half joking, half feeling a strong possessiveness towards a woman who’s technically never been his girlfriend. “Because I have heard some stories.”
Midge both sighs and laughs. “God, you’re almost as bad as Joel.”

Summary
The day is, as most days here are, perfect. Not a single cloud floats across the sky. A light breeze rustles the palm trees and stirs up the pool, and the sunlight reflects off the water to throw tiny ripples of light on the house. It’s always the fucking same, he thinks. Lenny’s suddenly right back where he was yesterday: trapped between the law and his near-constant craving for smack, unable to deal with how fucking nice it is when he’s walking around like a marked man, wondering if the next blow will be the last.
“You okay?” Midge calls from the door. She hasn’t bothered to change out of her nightgown, and the sight of her like this - awash in golden sun, here, in his house, fresh from his bed - breaks his thought spiral and his heart at roughly the same moment.
He shakes his head to clear it. “Deja vu, you know how it is."

They use the word, but never direct it toward each other. It's easier that way. But just because they never say it doesn't mean they don't feel it. It doesn't mean they don't know...

Summary
“Are you done for the night?” he asks.
She doesn’t want to look him straight in the eyes in case he’s still got that look on him, so she goes for staring at the cigarette that’s crookedly dangling from his mouth. It’s really the worst idea she’s had since shoving her ivory skirt out of the window of that cab.
“Why? Have you got some more things in your pockets you want to throw at me? Because, let me tell you, if you’re about to pull something out of there that’s going to leave a stain, I will not be held responsible for what I’ll do to you.”
Lenny stays for Midge's whole set at the strip club. Set during 4x03.

“The only honest art form is laughter, comedy. You can't fake it." - Lenny Bruce
---
“Two failed marriages. I really am the Mad Divorcee of the Upper West Side.” She laughs once, unconvincingly.
“I could propose and make it a round three,” Lenny offers, playing into her joke with – he hopes – enough humor in his tone.
