Summary
When Clark mentions that poinsettias are his favourite flower, Bruce formulates a plan to surprise him. Turns out, that was just the first of many unexpected moments.
Bruce pulls out all the stops to show Clark how much he cares and they take their relationship to the next level.

He could feel the man’s presence behind him again, overbearing, even though the vigilante wasn’t touching him this time. Clark watched as the Bat emptied the contents of the envelope across the counter top in front of him—several photos of bat branded criminals, along with some other photos depicting some of the Bat’s more brutal forms of justice—scattered in front of him.
“I only received them this morning, I was going to destroy them when I came home but—”
“I told you to drop the investigation.”
“I am, did.”
“I don’t believe you,” the rough voice said, dangerously close to his ear. “I think you wanted me to come here.” Clark closed his eyes as he felt the Bat press against him, the scent of city grime, kevlar and sweat filled his nostrils and he felt his body beginning to respond oh god, no.
