Summary
It was a Thursday night when it happened. The week was going great. They had been amicable to each other and Sansa was really trying. She was even going to cook them dinner tonight.
But then--
She walks in the kitchen and Jon is sitting there, looking down and sad at a paper. Her stomach dropps because she knows exactly what is in front of him.
Their imminent divorce.
Sansa walks and sits by his side, looking defeated as well. She takes some time to take him in, in all his grey sweatshirt and pants glory, black beanie with curls falling out of his face, so familiar that she almost catches them between her fingers…
It stings.
___
It was war, it wasn’t fair.
When sweet dreams are over, Jon and Sansa face the imminent threat of divorce. A 5-day trip is just what they might be needing to never go back to the bloodshed-– and to survive The Great War.

Summary
Tomorrow she will breathe the same air as Jon Snow, but it’s fine. It’s totally fine.
(It isn't.)
It’s not like they had any bad blood, and that’s what makes it even more difficult. Sansa said goodbye when she wanted to stay. But Jon needed freedom, and she wanted stability. So she went to KLU, she got her masters. She was a teacher. A great teacher. Jon decided to hit the road, trying to find meaning in life or some other emo bullshit. Sansa had heard whispers that he stayed at The Wall for quite some time. As for nowadays, she really doesn’t know what to expect.
She doesn’t know him at all.

Summary
When he feels her arms against his body, he does not reciprocate immediately. Part because it breaks his heart, part because he wishes it never ends. Mostly because he hates it that it’s all so damn complicated. But he can feel her warm breath on the crook of his neck, he can hear her soft cry near his ears, so he just holds on to dear life.
He holds her fiercely and tight, so tight that he fears it’s going to hurt her, but he feels her heart and her body and her breath and they can’t let go of each other. He breathes her in for the last time, one last time, and he curses himself, because, fuck, how did I ever think I could say goodbye without feeling home again?
He couldn’t bear the thought of losing her.
Or, Jon returns to Winterfell after four years of living in exile. He finds comfort in Sansa as they find their way to forgive each other.
