Summary
Naruto loves them both with an intensity that overflows from his very chest; it is a dual sentiment, an unbreakable bond that ties his soul to his wife’s and, with equal strength, to his best friend’s. He can sense it in the air: Sasuke’s bitter, dense scent—that fragrance of ozone and storm that now sours with the agony of his piercing rut. It is the silent cry of a broken Alpha, a lack of companionship so profound that it manifests as invisible claws tearing at his sanity.
