The first thing Ino did when she found herself in the past was to try to murder Shimura Danzo. She found out Shikako was also in the past because the Nara beat her to the kill. The second thing she did was get engaged to Shikako, because they knew far too many of each others' clan secrets and this was the least amount of paperwork to deal with that.
