Summary
The last time Sukuna was this drunk, he passed out in a church.
At least he thinks he did. The throbbing in the right side of his face suggested he didn't fall asleep gently, but it's how he woke up.
He came to between two rows of benches on the balcony at the far end of the cathedral, stirred awake by the most special sound he'd ever heard. A boy choir. He’d heard those before without feeling anything, but none with a soloist like that.
Sukuna forced himself to his feet and to the ledge, his eyes drawn to one of the older boys. It was as if all the light from the tall rose window fell on him, making him glow as brightly as his performance.
His voice was gentle, but not edgeless. There wasn’t a trace of the timid gratefulness of the younger singers. Perhaps he didn’t take the church thing that seriously. Perhaps he was having too much fun singing for it not to shine through. Regardless, Itadori Yuuji caught his ears, and Sukuna instantly knew that he needed his voice.
It wasn’t hard to persuade Yuuji to give it to him.
The infamous rockstar Sukuna brings a lost choir boy on tour, convinced that Yuuji's voice is meant to be his. After a very wet night, he makes Yuuji his, too.
