Well, aside from the man across from him, that is.
He keeps the thought to himself for the moment. Hawks has only just started to relax into their little date, joking and chatting without his eyes constantly checking and rechecking their surroundings. He’s subtle about it, sure, but Dabi’s only got eyes for his bird, while his bird’s been watching for a thousand imagined dangers. It’s half entertaining, half aggravating.
Eyes on me, pretty bird. It’s our first and last date, after all.
