"Bilbo," Thorin murmured beneath his breath, heart clenching as it was gripped by fear's piercing talons. Their burglar was nowhere to be seen. Suddenly the others faded from his concern as Thorin's entire world narrowed to the single fact that the hobbit wasn't with them.

Summary
Bilbo invites Thorin to be his “boyfriend” at Lobelia’s annual Christmas party, in order to show up his relatives and convince everyone he is off the market. Thorin agrees, a bit more readily than Bilbo expected.
Christmas shenanigans continue in chapter 2, with a final smut gift chapter. However, if you just prefer the clean version as opposed to smut, the final chapter is easily skippable.

Summary
Bilbo is quite convinced that all the problems plaguing them in the mountain - specifically, Thorin acting quite unlike himself - stem from the blasted Arkenstone. The thing is probably cursed, and it's up to him to get it as far away from Thorin as he can - and while he's at it, he might as well try to stop a war before it starts.
Rather than offering Bard and Thranduil the Arkenstone, Bilbo offers to give them his share of the treasure if they will please go away. Unfortunately, neither of them is willing to believe Thorin will hand it over - which leads to a ransom plan that is, in Bilbo's opinion, quite ridiculous and doomed to fail from the start. But at least that blasted stone is out of the mountain.

Summary
The sixth night they set up camp for the night Bilbo silently ventured off into the dense tree line, only to return after quite some time; carrying grass and flowers and twigs. They had all stared, for Dwarves were nothing if not curious in the arts of crafting, be it stone or plant. It had taken a while, a long time indeed, before any shape was taken. That had been the first time, but many times followed. After the events in the Goblin Tunnels it had become custom for them to sit by the fire, accompanied by the soft rustle of the leaves between Bilbo's fingers and the scent of Thorin's tobacco. Thorin doesn't dwell on the development. It just became, and now it was.
He never wonders why Bilbo seems so set on making crown after crown, never quite satisfied. Never bothers to ask. It's not until weeks later that Bilbo's reasons became clear. Gently he places the crown atop the Dwarf's head. Thorin lets him, completely in awe and shock alike. But then Bilbo's face breaks into a smile, accompanied by a small beam of delight as he steps back to regard the view in front of him.
''There. Finally one suited for a King.''

Summary
Bilbo nods, words having fled before they even had a chance to make it to his mouth. The way Thorin leans down then, his hair falling over his shoulder to curtain the both of them in a shroud of inky black and shimmering gold, makes Bilbo smile, so much brighter than the sun could ever dare.
