Jackie Taylor had always been the epitome of perfection- or at least, that's what everyone believed. With her effortless charm and magnetic presence, she ruled the halls of Wiskayok High. But beneath the polished veneer, Jackie harbored a secret animosity towards Callie Mendoza. It was a hatred born of frustration and confusion- although she would never admit it, the things she hated most about Callie were the very things she was drawn to.
On the other hand, Callie Mendoza, ever-vigilant in maintaining her independence, would insist that Jackie Taylor drove her up the wall. Jackie was everything she'd distanced herself from- pristine, put-together, and beloved by everyone. At first glance, Jackie seemed like the embodiment of the superficial world Callie disdained.
In truth, Jackie and Callie's mutual "hatred" was a façade that cloaked a deeper connection- a pull that transcended the boundaries they set.
