Summary
A sunflower is never able to survive in a winter. It’s in their genetic code, a known fact, nature. Humans fear the cold and everything that it represents and what it reminds us of. Death. Corpses are cold, the winter is harsh and deadly. Being alive is to feel warmth, a reminder of the difference between life and death, love and loneliness. The two are never meant to mix…but what if they do?

Kazuo is a down on his luck college dropout bass guitar player dreaming to make it big as a musician. He’s thinking of quitting to actually get a proper job to support his adoptive parents, Rosa and Robert. Then he stumbles across a band, CyberArms, that’s currently looking for a bassist and has a realisation that this could be his chance at finally actually joining a band.

Modern au setting. Boothill gets called back to the old highschool that he use to attend since they were in desperate need of a teacher, for the shooting club, that was good at shooting. Boothill reluctantly agreed since it wouldn't hurt, right? Oh boy was he wrong... Of course he had to meet his old friend, Argenti, there. Who just so happened to be a teacher too!

Summary
It seems like an eternity since Boothill and Argenti got together, they could practically be considered a married couple at this point. And Argenti being an old-fashioned lover boy, he wants to adopt a kid with Boothill. A daughter. Boothill doesn't seem very keen with that idea, wounds of the past began to open once more, festering uncontrollably. But could a wound really reopen when it never healed in the first place? Wounds that never heal would only end up bleeding and harming someone else instead.

Or Boothill having to tell Argenti the truth as to why he doesn't want a kid. The pain was too much for him to handle, tears that couldn't be shed stinged more than ones that could.
